Web Developer


Our Marketing team in San Francisco is looking to hire a talented Web Developer.  This role will report directly to the Head of Marketing.

What you’ll be doing

  • Using your knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP to develop and improve our core website properties.
  • Working directly with our engineering, product, product marketing and marketing teams to execute website strategy
  • Building and enhancing themes for our web properties using WordPress
  • Researching, designing and proposing solutions for new functionality
  • Managing the website’s continuous deployment pipeline
  • Deploying your code to production
  • Triaging and resolving production issues
  • Making sure pages are optimized for SEO and conversion
  • Pro-actively ensure that the website is kept up to date, compliant and meets best practice.

What we’re looking for

  • Strong knowledge of WordPress and common plugins
  • Experience with experimental testing
  • Experience with client-side JavaScript, PHP and CSS
  • Experience with modern browser technologies
  • Experience building and debugging JavaScript and CSS issues
  • Expertise in building complex, responsive layouts with CSS and HTML
  • Experience with Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics
  • Ability to accurately recreate visual solutions from designers
  • Proven experience building and maintaining WordPress sites and themes
  • Highly organized and ability to be autonomous in a fast paced environment
  • Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and empathy

What would be a bonus

  • Experience consuming REST APIs
  • Experience with Google Console, SEMRush, Hotjar, MOZ, chatbots, a plus
  • Experience with React, Angular, or similar JavaScript frameworks, a plus
