Embedded Systems Quality Assurance Developer

As an Embedded Systems Quality Assurance Developer, you’ll be part of the development of our new EVBox firmware for electronics within multiple projects. You will work on the overall product testing strategy for embedded systems.


Responsibilities but not limited too:

  • Create, execute test scenarios and test plans
  • Provide descriptions on how the firmware is tested and document the results in a clean and understandable manner 
  • Bridge between the requirements and the developments 
  • Ensuring requirements are correctly transformed into the implementation
  • Report and document on defects to the Firmware Development team
  • Review all software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, or completeness, or to mitigate risks


Job requirements: 

  • Proven experience with functional testing in embedded software/firmware development projects
  • Experience with automotive Embedded Systems testing/ QA is a must
  • Experienced in developing test cases based on firmware and hardware requirements
  • QA management experience creating test cases from internal and external requirements
  • Familiarity with (test and integration side of) V-model
  • Familiar and comfortable with working with IEC, UL, and other institutional standards
  • Basic understanding of programming (embedded systems and Linux)
  • Exposure to automated test setup
  • Experience with agile/scrum practices
