Our teams build highly scalable frameworks and web applications based on JPA 2.0, GraphQL, OpenAPI RESTful web service, Spring and more. We also continuously research upcoming technologies like Akka and Scala for use in our products.


Responsibilities

Develop highly scalable products using mostly Java technologies

• Discuss business requirements with the product owner and translate these into solid designs

• Coordinate between product lines

• Define and contribute to the team process

• Provide input to technical writers

• Understand and contribute to product architecture 


Skills & Experience

• At least a bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or equivalent field

 Thorough experience in Java software design and development of mission-critical systems (JSE/Java EE), preferably within a product company

• Knowledge of Hibernate and JPA persistence technologies

• Knowledge of the Spring framework

• Experience of web services development in OpenAPI or GraphQL

• Experience with unit testing, mocking and integration testing

• Build tooling experience with Maven/Gradle

• Experience with OO design, UML and design patterns

• Knowledge of scalability and concurrency aspects

• An understanding of continuous integration and delivery

• Results driven

• Able to interact and present across product teams

• Fluent in English reading, writing and speaking


Desired Skills

• Experience of Elasticsearch

• Experience of cloud technologies (e.g. AWS)

• Experience of agile software development methodologies

• Knowledge of software containers, Docker, ACS, Kubernetes etc

• Knowledge of web frameworks, like Spring MVC framework

• Knowledge of NoSQL databases

• Knowledge of Scala

• Knowledge of application servers such as WebLogic, WebSphere
